What is Marist

Farewell to Br James

Situated in the village of Vailoa, in the District of Palauli, on the rural South Pacific island of Savai'i, in the independent nation of Samoa, the Ulimasao Marist Centre (UMC) is a different kind of school for a different kind of student. The Marist Centre provides hands-on education to help participants gain life skills, while at the same time boosting their self-confidence.  While the Centre strives to sustain itself through a policy of self-sufficiency,  funding for the Centre is an ongoing challenge.

UMC needs your help!
